(n.) A hardware and software system that permits computer users in different locations to connect over netorks and to share data, graphics, and voice signals in real time. With an audiographic connection, users can work on the same application or document simultaneously, see the data on their computer screens, and discuss their progress over a voice channel. In the most basic application, the term refers to any single-frame transmission of graphics with audio signals.
