(n.) Sony Corporations’ proprietary format for motion picture digital soundtrack systems. The signal is optically printed outside the sprocket holes along both sides of the film. Sony recently developed a single camera system that records all three digital audio formats (dolby digital, DTS, and SDDS) on a single inventory print.
