(n.) Input signals that exceed the fullscale range of an A/D converter. Overs indicators may be LEDs that light up when 0 dB input is exceeded, or they may be calibrated digital meters. 0 dB full scale is the absolute highest voltage level that a converter can process. When this level is met or exceeded, the output from the converter consists of all 1s.
