Course Description
- This is the first course in a sequence of three: Fundamentals, Diatonic Harmony and Chromatic Harmony. In this course you will study:
- Learn the basic rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic materials of music.
- Learn about scales, key signatures, intervals, and triads.
- Learn to analyze diatonic harmonies with lead sheet symbols.
- Learn to aurally identify intervals and to write simple melodies.
